A former kautior who was rescued and adopted by Geisuton and Kaigaerron. She is the blood sibling of Peresh and adopted sibling of Teres.

Deeply introspective in a way that tends to do more harm than good, she often withdraws into her own world and can come across as prickly and emotionally distant. She isn't afraid to speak up and trusts her intuition when she senses something is amiss however. She is highly sentimental and cares a great deal for her new family, even if she can't seem to express it in so many words. She is very attached to Peresh since he's the only demon who can fully relate to her experiences, but this attachment turns into a destructive dependency as she looks to him to reinforce her negative perception of her situation.

Aereikah disliked Kaigaerron from the beginning because of the special attention she would give to Peresh, not because she wanted that attention for herself, but because she sensed that Kaigaerron was taking advantage of him. Aereikah took her frustrations out in whatever way she could as a child - putting rocks under Kaigaerron's bedding, ignoring her orders - but Kaigaerron always kept cool in the face of it. Aereikah notices how the two of them slip out together at night, and Peresh desperately attempts to keep the fact that he's pregnant with Kaigaerron's child a secret from her for fear of her reaction.

She most often appears in a humanoid form with brown skin and lighter brown countershading, dark stripes down her back and shoulders, thighs, and tail, dark black eyes, shoulder-length curly blond hair, and pale yellow horns and hooves. She sometimes appears as a black wildebeest with a blond mane and tail.

Child of Teres and Seireinen, and older sibling of Aoulon. She inhereted the soul of the Archon Sabaoth.

She immediately becomes attached to Cheizou upon meeting him and compares their relationship to that of Teres and Seireinen. Cheizou finds her offputting at first, but comes to appreciate how honest and selfless she is. She gives him the nickname "Kiki" which he comes to prefer over being called Kiash, since it feels more like a name that belongs just to him. The closer they become the more reticent he is about killing her, which leads to tension between him and Asera.

She dotes on Aoulon and is very protective of him. Cheizou envies their relationship, seeing a loving older sister in Ampitae that he never saw in Kiash.

She most often appears in a humanoid form with olive skin, shoulder-length red hair, and the ears and tail of a red fox. She always has light pink eyes with darker pink pupils. As an Altian child she often wears clothing, her favorite being a knee-length pink and green ckesh with a black sash.

One of Satan's personal attendants. He accompanies Cheizou back to Erets to assist in recovering the souls of the Archons.

The irritable and short-tempered straight man of the duo. He has a soft heart underneath the prickly exterior. He attempts to take the lead in most situations, but he's not as clever as he lets on and usually defers to Mezuro in the end.

He most often appears as a small imp-like creature with pale white and brown fur and feathered wings. Other forms follow a similar pattern to this. In combat he takes the form of a large winged lion-like beast. Rarely he takes on a humanoid form.

Child of Peresh and Kaigaerron, sibling of Kiash, and half-sibling by blood of Teres. He inherited the soul of the Archon Adonaios.

Like Peresh he is soft-spoken and sensitive to the moods of others, but outgoing and excitable when he's comfortable. He is deeply hurt when Kiash pushes him away, and despite being attacked repeatedly, approaches her again and again hoping to win her over. One night he wakes up from a nightmare and tries to climb into her bed to be comforted, which causes her to fly into a rage and smother him to death.

Cheizou is the first of the six reincarnated Archons to die. After his death his soul is recalled to Sheol where Satan reforms his body and offers him the chance to return to Erets on one condition: he must seek out the remaining five Archons, kill them, and absorb their souls. Cheizou desperately wants to see Kiash again, so he agrees. Satan sends his servants Asera and Mezuro along with him, informing them that they should kill him if he seems unwilling or incapable of accomplishing this task.

After he returns to Erets he attempts to confront Kiash again by sneaking up on her while she's alone, but she is terrified and tries to run away, resulting in her slipping from the cliffside and falling into a river below. Cheizou searches for her to no avail, and Asera tells him to assume her form and reintegrate with the Eanez so he can look for Archons among them.

His birth form is that of an anthropomorphic dog with long brown fur, floppy ears, and light brown eyes. However he is more often seen disguised as Kiash, in a humanoid form that he created based on what he thought she might look like as a human. This form has very pale skin, shoulder-length wavy silver hair and a long flowing tail, fluffy ears, and light blue eyes. When he moves to Als with Peresh he starts wearing clothing, his favorite outfit being a long green ckesh with yellow ruffles held up with a black fringed sash.

Former partner of Kaigaerron, sire of Teres, and adoptive parent of Peresh and Aereikah.

He first met Kaigaerron as a child when she would accompany her father Korbvosoe, the oracle of the Eanez, on missions to Als. They became fast friends, although Geisuton's parents were hesitant to let him get too involved with the Eanez. Kaigaerron's dam Mayana later decided to flee the Eanez and brought her child with her to Als, where she begged Ranshe to grant them asylum. Ranshe agreed to let them stay and refused to give in to Korbvosoe's demands to return them to him, which ultimately destroyed the friendly relationship that had developed between Als and the Eanez. Geisuton and Kaigaerron were able to grow up together as a result of this, and eventually became partners.

Geisuton and his blood relatives are collectively referred to as the Debvhusheo, a family that traces it's lineage back to the earliest recorded history of Als. At least some of their descendants are believed to have lived at the Palace continuously since it's inception, and as such they are often deferred to as the guides of the colony.

He is calm, studious, and soft-hearted, especially towards children and lesser demons. He spends much of his time in the library maintaining the texts stored there or writing about his own observations. He knows a great deal about the history and ecology of Erets, and his upbringing instilled a healthy respect for Satan in him. Cheizou studies under him alongside Ampitae and Aoulon.

He most often appears in a humanoid form with dark black fur with leopard spots and long curly hair. He sometimes takes the form of a large dragonoid creature with green scales and black fur. Other forms typically have green and black fur, scales, or feathers.

Former partner of Geisuton, dam of Teres, sire of Cheizou and Kiash, and adoptive parent of Peresh and Aereikah.

She is reserved but not timid, being quick to assume positions of leadership. Her cutting disposition often leads to her butting heads with others when they don't immediately submit to her demands, but she makes a point of never escalating conflicts too far, instead preferring to solve problems in more cunning and manipulative ways. When asked about where her loyalties lie she never confirms nor denies any allegiance to God, and neither does she swear any fealty to Satan, but she has been known to question why others remain so committed to him.

She first met Geisuton as a child when she would accompany her father Korbvosoe, the oracle of the Eanez, on missions to Als. Korbvosoe hoped to improve relations between Als and the Eanez and would send missionaries regularly after this inaugural meeting. However, this period of cooperation was cut short after Korbovsoe's partner Mayana fled the Eanez and brought Kaigaerron with her to Als. Korbvosoe demanded that the two of them be returned to him, but Ranshe refused and instead broke ties with the Eanez. While Mayana never personally spoke of the reason why she left, Kaigaerron would later recount to Geisuton that Korbvosoe was ruthless and treated Mayana and the other members of the Eanez like they were his personal slaves. When Mayana refused to bear him any more children, he attempted to coerce her by beating and torturing both her and Kaigaerron.

She is quiet and leery, but like Kaigaerron is not necessarily shy. She is often in Kaigaerron's shadow, watching her closely and emulating her. She is initially wary of Cheizou but does warm up to him over time, until her attitude suddenly seems to shift overnight for reasons that aren't immediately obvious to anyone.

Her birth form is that of a lanky borzoi with long silver fur and light blue eyes. However after losing her memories and coming to live with the Ecrutecra she more often takes the form of a young human girl with pale skin, mid-length dark brown hair, very dark brown eyes, and brown dog ears and tail.

He is thoughtful, patient, and a bit of a romantic. He doesn't hold grudges and dislikes conflict. He seems quiet at first glance but can be very animated when he feels comfortable. He continues to love clothing and accessories even after coming of age, which is seen as a childish trait in Als. His affable and self-sacrificial nature can sometimes cause problems for him as others come to rely on him for support, while he rarely feels that he can ask for anything in return. He's not quick to trust just anyone, but is easily taken advantage of by those who are close to him.

Kaigaerron would shower Peresh with gifts, sneak him more food, give him longer breaks from his work, anything to win his favor and make him feel indebted to her. They enter into an affair behind the backs of their family, which is later revealed when Kaigaerron decides to take Peresh with her to rejoin the Eanez. This destroys his relationship with Aereikah, who despises Kaigaerron and believed Peresh to be the only one who truly understood her. He eventually returns to Als with Cheizou (who is disguised as Kiash) after Cheizou is exiled by Kaigaerron.

He most often appears in a humanoid form with bright white fur and pale brown tiger stripes with a bushy tail. To hunt he takes the form of a large white tiger-like animal with similar patterning. While living with the Eanez he takes the form of a silver borzoi.

She is one of the Debvhusheo, a line of demons said to be descended from the original architect of the Altian Palace. While her position is informal and Altians manage most things on their own via majority rule, they will often defer to her when serious or time-sensitive decisions must be made at the Palace.

Her demeanor is very relaxed and jovial, if not mischievous at times. She dotes on Teres, and Geisuton likes to say that he resembles Ranshe much more than either himself or Kaigaerron.

Boisterous and lascivious, he can be handsy to an uncomfortable degree and will often say vulgar or provocative things with little regard for public decency. He is nonetheless kind and reliable, and the children of Als especially adore him. He is often seen at home spinning or weaving textiles or beading.

He most often appears in a humanoid form with leopard spotted fur and long dark hair. He sometimes prefers to appear as a large pink cat with long fur, ape-like teeth, and eight arms and ten eyes like that of a spider. Other forms follow a similar pattern to this.

He finds Kiash washed up on the shore of the Dokai River and brings her back to the Ecrutecra encampment to nurse her back to health with the help of his family. When she finally comes to she's able to tell them her name and that she is from the Eanez, but will say nothing about how she ended up in Dokai. Roakae and Chauhes are reticent to take her back to the Eanez any time soon since the relationship between the colonies has been tense, and they have also been occupied with endless problems due to the eruption of Melekia and the arrival of the jioageuro in their territory. Worshappei convinces them to let her live with them for the time being until they can decide what to do.

While Kiash is initially cold and mistrustful, Worshappei is very patient and gentle with her and is happy to have someone his own age to spend time with. He teaches her how to transform and herd the corico, and they grow close over time.

He most often appears in the form of a humanoid child with medium brown skin, long blond hair that is sometimes tied in a ponytail, green eyes, and the ears, horns and tail of a bull. As an Ecrutecran child he sometimes wears clothing, his favorite outfit being a long dusty purple ckesh with red and tan embellishments.

A mysterious zombified being. Her body was recovered from the site of a flood and landslide that destroyed a remote jungle village. From a few tattered articles of clothing found near her at the time, she was eventually determined to be Elliot Arnalds, an alumni from Maric's university who was conducting fieldwork at the time. It was written in her will that her body should be donated to the university after her death, so she was sent to Maric's team to be studied.

The offspring of USB90909. Like 90909 her body is completely indestructible, but she is able to locomote on her own. She seems single-mindedly focused on reproducing copies of herself, which she does by burying herself in soil and sprouting root-like structures from her ears and tail, from which the copies grow.

Falling asleep near her or her copies can be dangerous as she is capable of transforming living beings into comatose, zombified versions of themselves, although what causes her to do this is poorly understood since it seems to only happen rarely and at random. She is otherwise harmless as an individual, although her out of control reproduction and inability to be destroyed poses an immense threat to the environment.

The original USB is kept by Maric for study and he grows attached to her. She is sometimes seen wearing a collar with a tag that reads "01" to differentiate her from her copies. Maric's niece Maria has also been known to dress her in doll clothes.

A jealous and competitive boar piglet who sees himself as Pan's rival. He covets whatever Pan has and demands that everything be given to him. He is terrified of Echo however, so whenever she interrupts them he runs away.

An energetic young wolf cub who has a habit of befriending potential prey. Pan stumbles across her by accident one day and she chases him, but her curiosity makes her pause and she decides he's too interesting to eat. They become fast friends in the end.

She enjoys taking dust baths and chasing frogs in the creek. She can be a bit prideful and a show-off, and develops a strong crush on Sorrel.

A piglet who lives in a cottage in the woods with his owner, a mysterious young woman who reads to him and dresses him in cute clothes. She lets him wander around in the woods nearby, where he meets Echo and his other friends.

Mushrooms are his favorite snack and he learns which ones are safe to eat from the books his owner reads to him. Truffles are his holy grail and he dreams of finding one some day.

He dislikes getting dirty and can be picky about food. While a bit spoiled, he is not haughty and usually gets along well with others.

Depending on the mood of his owner he may wear anything from bows to bonnets to capes, typically in a blue and white color scheme. He is most often seen sporting a black string with a bell and tassel tied around his neck.

A young deer fawn who is spotted by Echo one night by the creek with her mother. Echo is immediately starstruck, although Pan does have to convince her that she should probably shouldn't use terms like "delicious" to describe her. Sorrel is initially terrified when they approach her, but Pan shows her that Echo means no harm and she reluctantly agrees to introduce herself.

She and Echo become fast friends and they even play together on their own sometimes while Pan is away. Sorrel thinks Echo is a little weird for befriending so many prey animals, but seems to find her funny and charming nonetheless. She appears to be oblivious of Echo's infatuation with her, but Pan seems to think she may be acting coy.

He found her loitering next to a tombstone in a graveyard one night and dragged her home with him against her will. Her body is covered in scars, likely inflicted by her previous owner, although Monster has only added to the collection since then.

A young thief born and raised in the Haunted Woods.

His master was a sadistic person, gave him a degrading name, and forced him into a life of scavenging and pick-pocketing to support their Godori habit. His thieving prowess was eventually noticed by a Darigan Bori named Voromahery, the leader of the Haunted Woods arm of the Thieves Guild, who was so impressed that he asked the Aisha to consider joining the Guild. Monster didn't hesitate to accept the offer and abandoned his master without a second thought.

While he is indeed a capable thief, the Guild soon discovers that he is also easily distracted, and prefers to amass heaps of useless garbage rather than valuables. Kleptomaniacal, street-smart, and yet more than a little stupid, he often stashes toys and other coveted shinies away in his own secret hoard at the Guild base. Voromahery occasionally hunts down this pile to discard the trash or pawn things off for a quick buck, much to Monster's dismay.

Leader of the Haunted Woods arm of the Thieves Guild.

Formerly a pirate, he was one day approached by a member of the Terror Mountain Thieves Guild who was seeking to recruit new members. He agreed to join because he felt like the job seemed cushier than life on the sea. He slowly worked his way up in rank, eventually setting his sights on becoming head of the Guild, although his hopes were dashed when Kanrik killed Galem and took over as leader instead. Since outing Kanrik was untenable for the time being, he approached another thief in his rank named Tsikoza with plans to revive the Haunted Woods chapter of the Guild. Seeing it as an opportunity to relive her youth, Tsikoza agreed and the two moved into the decrepit former base in the Haunted Woods. Together they set about recruiting new blood around the area.

Despite appearances, he is surprisingly considerate of his subordinates, although he instantly regrets recruiting Monster after realizing what a handful he is. The two of them argue frequently. He has a much younger sister named Koulourakia who he used to support from afar with the money he made as a pirate and thief, but once she grew older she starting seeking him out and insisting that she join the Guild to repay him. Although he adamantly refused and told her to stay home, she eventually shows up on his doorstep in the Haunted Woods anyway, giving him no more choice in the matter.

SPECIES "Wolfdog"

An outgoing young boy who often struggles to coexist with others. Socially and physically clumsy but otherwise meticulous to a fault, he comes across as more naïve than he really is because of his tendency to withdraw into his own world. He likes dark spaces, reading, and being outdoors, and hates being watched, cold weather, and restrictive clothing.

He's precocious for his age, which seems to be the source of many of his interpersonal problems. He is pliant with females and pathologically aggressive towards males, and always refuses to be penetrated unless forced or coerced. He will take any opportunity to strip naked and has been known to masturbate absentmindedly as a force of habit. He loves his sister MAIM to an obsessive degree, but she rejects him for reasons he doesn't quite understand, and ultimately he dies by her hand.

His default form is that of a chubby anthro dog boy of indeterminate breed (I call him a "wolfdog" but he wasn't based on any breed in particular), aged approximately 8 to 10 years old. He's sometimes depicted as a baby or toddler, but is rarely if ever depicted as an adult since he dies before reaching adulthood in most canons.

I landed on the name CRUSH because I liked the contrast of a cute character having an intimidating name, although how intimidating it really is depends on whether you assume the etymology is "destruction" or "infatuation." It is intended to be stylized in all caps but this isn't strictly necessary.

The name Cheizou is only used in the setting of Crushing Lust where he is a shapeshifting demon. He can appear in his default "wolfdog" form in this setting, so any artwork of this form could be either CRUSH or Cheziou depending on context. In essence, Cheizou is always a version of CRUSH, whereas CRUSH is not always Cheizou. If he is depicted in a modern environment or wearing modern clothing he is only referred to as CRUSH and not Cheizou.

In Crushing Lust he is more often than not disguised as his sister Kiash in the form of a pale, skinny kemonomimi girl with blue eyes, silver hair, and the ears and tail of a borzoi. He is referred to as Kiash by other characters when he's in this form, but the real Kiash has a different humanoid appearance.

In modern AUs, rather than being resurrected from the dead after being killed by MAIM, he instead miraculously recovers from a vegetative brain death state that doctors believed he wouldn't be able to come back from. His mother, MURDER, is convinced that his body was reanimated and is being puppeted around by the devil. Compared to Crushing Lust where her suspicions about him being the devil are actually correct, in this world she is simply delusional.

I designed his anthro form some time in 2017, but I've technically had this character for decades because I merged many aspects of my childhood persona into him. The design of his disguised form as Kiash is nearly identical to that original persona, and the world and other characters in Crushing Lust were carried over from her backstory to his, although most of the plot was rewritten specifically for him.
